Previously I used generic cut-to-fit screen protectors that were difficult to size correctly and made the screen difficult to watch unless in a dark place. These cut down the glare dramatically. The only con I have found so far is that smudges and fingerprints show more easily with the Lexerd Anti-glare screen protectors, but a quick wipe down does away with both easily. I can now watch my Archos 5 in more brightly lit areas without having to increase my backlight, which in turn increases battery life.
