-Fits snugly, there's no chance of it accidentally slipping out when the folio is open.
-Pretty good stitching and feel of the case. It doesn't add too much thickness to the A5A
-The flap has some padding in it so your screen is safe from modest impacts.
-There are openings on the top and sides for access to speakers, usb, headphone, vol. +/-, power, addons, etc. So there's really no need to take it out, ever.
-Screen protector looks decent, it was easy to apply, I got it on the first try. Also came with a little screen wiper.
-There are 2 pockets in the case, so you can store your screen wipe, stylus, as well as any MicroSD cards you have in there. They are tight and deep enough to keep things from falling out.
-There is also a little stylus pocket at the fold, though it's not incredibly deep (~3.5in or 9cm long stylus without having it stick out of the case.
-The clasp opens and closes easily.
-There is a fold out stand on the back that is quite wide, so your Archos doesn't fall over.
It is easy to hold in portrait mode, especially if you open the stand and slip your thumb into the strap holding the stand to the case.
Cons:
The designers probably didn't do an extensive amount of testing with the A5A, or it just slipped their mind, because the little pockets and stylus holder are upside down since the A5A only goes from landscape to portrait one way, counter-clockwise, so when holding it in portrait mode, the pockets are upside down. Fortunately they are tight and deep enough for things to not slide out.
Overall: Great, economic, solution to an Archos 5 Android (8/16/32GB) case.
Note: This case won't fit the hard drive versions of the Archos 5 (300/500GB/etc.)
