It is much faster than the original one installed in mini9.
However, once it was suddenly broken, the BIOS in my laptop does not recognize the SSD, instead, it reads that "YATOPDONG BEARFOOT"
The reason I tell you "Do not buy runcore SSD" is that there is no way to receive a repair service.
they have website, but you could not contact with the number and email. Their company is in China.
Please do not buy this SSD. You can find many complains about Runcore in Google.

(More customer reviews)This particular model (at least as fulfilled by MemoryC) actually is not the correct version of the drive for the MacBook Air Rev A. Runcore makes two versions of their 1.8 ZIF PATA drive:
RCP-IV-Z1864-MCNV
RCP-IV-Z1864-MCAV
The "MCAV" is made for MacBook Air Rev A. The "MCNV" will not work with the MacBook Air Rev A.
I learned this the hard way-- by ordering it based on this review and spending 8 hours trying to get it to work, and then having MemoryC explain that this particular Amazon item corresponds to his item RCP-IV-Z1864-MCNV, which was never going to work in a MacBook Air.
Unfortunately, that distinction is mentioned absolutely no where in Amazon's product description for this item:

In fact even on the case of the Runcore drive, it's only labeled: RCP-IV-Z1864-MC.
The "MCNV" vs. "MCAV" issue is not even clear on the drive's own packaging!
Amazon and MemoryC's (mis)labeling of this product is a headache waiting to happen if you're looking for a Runcore for your MacBook Air Rev A. You've been warned!
