The FidelityFEP-NCTB Noise Cancelling Headhones with Titanium Drivers from Aiptek passively block background noise naturally.The active noise cancelling circuit inside the control box is designed for filtering ambient noise out, and works best at mid/low frequencies. This in-ear noise cancelling headphone includes two microphones mounted on the earpieces to monitor the ambient noise signal. This circuit attenuates ambient noise by 12db.Their in-the-ear design provides a great personal music listening environment. Soft silicon sleeves fit securely and comfortably in the ear canal. The user can choose to switch the noise cancelling feature on or off. Other features include independent volume control, dynamic bass and treble response, and a blue led power indicator.Product specs are 10mm titanium speaker drivers, 104 db/+/_ 3db sensitivity, 3.5mm audio plug, and 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response. This product is powered by one AAA battery.

(More customer reviews)I was so excited when I got this product until I used them. They wouldn't stay in my ears because they were too large. The sound quality is good if you can get them to stay put. Also they have shortages in them. I bought two pairs and I hadn't had one pair a full two weeks before one stopped working. I can keep products for years so I was really disappointed. With the second pair, you could hear static or some kind of "noise" not associated with the music. That side hurt even with the low volume. The product just needs to be improved. They need to be tested BEFORE they send them out. They may be inexpensive but that's no excuse for poor quality.

(More customer reviews)I have the Motorola Droid and I can confirm that the play/pause button works. Unfortunately when in certain audio apps, it will pause whats currently playing and start playing the main music app with one button press. This is a software issue though.
These headphones have non-symmetrical cables, which I don't like. They have a clip so you can clip the wires to your shirt. This is a nice feature and absolutely necessary for non-symmetrical head phones which put all the force of a snagged cable on one ear, resulting in that bud more easily coming out than if the cables were symmetrical.
The audio quality is appropriate for their price. It's acceptable for listening to spoken word content, but you'd have to hate your music to listen to it with these.
The mic works surprisingly well for the price.
These come with one set of buds which are a roughly medium size. They fit decently well, like other silicone buds I've used. I don't worry about them coming out due to fitment.

I LOVE them, the sound, the way they fit in my ear...but they seem to break after not too long...however, I do realize that previously I did use them many times daily and would wrap them around my ipod while I was in class/not using them. I'm hoping that now that I won't use this pair as much that they'll last a lot longer. Worth it though, for the great sound and blocking out other noises!
