(More customer reviews)WOW...WOW...WOW!!! I ordered this on Monday morning, Jan. 10th, knowing it's coming from the UK with expedited delivery I was expecting on January 18. I saw the DHL tracking number last evening and it was at London Heathrow Airport on Jan 12th, and the doorbell rang at 10am on Thursday, Jan. 13th with DHL delivery. And I'm in Wisconsin and planes flying west had to get through some major storms and closed airports!! I can't believe you pulled this off so fast. Thank you Tuff Luv and Thank You DHL...you're amazing!
This is my 2nd Tuff Luv case, the 1st was for my iPOD Touch and it's awesome, superior protection with 100% functionality. I've only had the Archos case for an hour, but upon 1st exam, it's everything the manufactured described with very sturdy upright support for viewing angles. Cutouts are in the perfect spots and although I opted for the cheaper "veggie case", it looks and feels like real leather.

(More customer reviews)This case is very poor quality and does not fit properly. It buckles and bulges and the cover does not close. The clasp is a "magnet" that is so weak it doesn't stay clasped even when you hold it closed. It offers no protection to the sides and is very flimsy. I'm very disappointed in this and wouldn't pay $5 for it let alone $43.99 they want for it. Returning it for refund.

Tuff-Luv Premium leather case - Archos 5 (120GB / 160GB / 250GB) Review

(More customer reviews)As a case only, I'd give this a 5 - very nicely built, good leather feel and looks nice.
Two issues, however, caused me to downgrade the rating - 1 minor, 1 significant. The minor issue is the bulk the case seems to add to the player - its not a huge addition, but given the fairly hefty size of the Archos 5 to begin with, the case seems to possibly push the size of the 5 plus case to almost obese.
The major issue is that with the way they've designed the case, its impossible to place the 5 on to the battery dock without removing the case. The maddening thing is that if they had placed the front closure and its corresponding magnets a little different, it would have worked (I tested it by repositioning the 5 so that just the leather was between the 5 & the dock and it worked that way.) So the case has to be removed in order to use the battery dock - a big pain seeing that I wanted the 5 to be protected by the case at all times. [I don't have the DVR dock, but I assume the problem applies with it too.]
In the end, a 5 star case gets downgraded to a 3 star rating because faulty design causes incompatibility between the case and the battery dock.

(More customer reviews)This was hard to apply and doesn't fit perfectly, which puts a little bit of a gap around the edge not bad but I have used better on other devices. It does however act as a good clearcoat and actually helps reduce the amount of glare my Archos normally has.
